Booking an Amsterdam body to body massage, whatever the sky is doing
Everything is arranged in writing. Five lines in a first message are enough to bring back a complete answer, and no hour is held until that answer has been agreed in the thread.
The whole arrangement runs in four moves. You write. A reply comes back with a name, a figure and an arrival window. Where the deposit rule applies, half of the figure is settled ahead of the journey. Then the journey, which is forty to sixty minutes to anywhere central in a downpour as much as on a dry evening.
The five lines a warm room booking runs on
Where. The street and the building, plus the room number the moment reception gives you one. If the street door locks at midnight, or visitors have to be met downstairs, write that now rather than working it out together in the rain.
When. In Amsterdam time. A phone still set to the country you flew from is a frequent way for a start hour to go wrong, and in the dark months it costs an evening rather than an hour.
How long. Sixty minutes, ninety, two, three, or the block of eight. If the room heats slowly, say so and take the ninety.
Who, or else what sort of evening it is. A name from the roster, or a line about the night you are in: frozen, soaked, sleepless in a heat that will not break.
The room itself. Whether the heating works, whether there is air conditioning in August, whether the shower is reliable. It decides which format is suggested.
What comes back
The reply gives a name, the figure from her profile, and a window rather than a single minute. Forty to sixty is honest for the centre and holds through frost and storm alike, so plan against the far edge of it and you will not be caught half dressed with a wet coat on the floor.
One word confirms all three. Nothing is asked of you before that: no form, no account, no card typed into a page, no explanation of why you are in Amsterdam in the last week of January.
Half the fee, in plain figures
Half of whichever figure applies is settled before she sets out on nearly every booking here: anything arranged more than twenty-four hours ahead, any eight hour block, any booking with two therapists, any room at Schiphol or an airport hotel, any peak date the house names when asked, any session of three hours or more, and the first booking a client makes. One case carries nothing ahead of it, and that is a returning client asking for an hour or two the same day at an address inside the city, which is settled in full on arrival.
So a first hour at 180 euros sends 90 ahead and settles 90 in the room. Ninety minutes at 270 sends 135. The eight hour block at 1,250 euros puts 625 ahead. Two therapists over two hours at 720 euros puts 360 ahead. Card is the usual route, with Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency for anyone who prefers them, and the destination appears inside the confirmed thread and on no page anywhere.
A deposit is not returned as a matter of course, and cancelling never leaves you owing damages. What may be kept is the share already earned when your message lands: nothing at all with more than twenty-four hours' notice, half the deposit inside the final day while she has not yet left, the whole of it once she is on her way. Where another client takes the hour you gave up, the deposit is repaid whole. If you can show the loss was smaller than the share kept, only that smaller sum stays. A booking with no deposit behind it leaves nothing owed if it is called off before she sets out, and the journey share if it is called off after.
Writing in bad weather
A storm is not a reason to apologise in the first line, and it is not a reason to expect a delay either. What does help is notice on anything with moving parts: two therapists, a whole night, or a room out at Schiphol, which is arranged separately once the drive is agreed with you.
One habit saves more winter bookings than any other. Put the heating on when the hour is confirmed rather than when the knock comes, because a canal house radiator takes the better part of an hour to make a difference and the first quarter of the session is otherwise spent catching up.
